HSE slams YouTube stunts

The Health and Safety Executive has condemned the “irresponsible and dangerous behavior” exhibited by daredevils posting stunts with diggers on YouTube.

In March a workman filmed himself being flung through the area whilst hanging on to a digger, and posted the clip on YouTube. The clip attracted over 1,200 hits before it was taken down.
Stephen Williams, HSE Head of Construction, said such videos encourage irresponsible behavior and should be condemned by all in the construction industry.
